Welcome to Exegetical Tools!  We exist to provide exegetical resources for those with an interest in biblical studies.

All resources created by Exegetical Tools are free to the public to assist in biblical studies and the teaching of Scripture.
 

Todd Scacewater Laura Guzman Warren Campbell
todd+dezi-6040Todd is a PhD candidate at Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) in Hermeneutics and Biblical Interpretation. He holds a Th.M. in New Testament, an M.Div, and a B.A. in Political Science. He has served the church in various ministries: music, college, youth, children, and discipleship. He is currently a Teaching Fellow in New Testament at Westminster, adjunct professor for Colorado Christian University, an editor for Books At a Glance, and works in Natural Language Processing. His research interests include biblical theology, biblical ethics, philosophy, linguistics, economics, literature, and interdisciplinary methodology. He also co-authors another blog, Kingdom Now.

LauraLaura is a PhD student at Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) in Hermeneutics and Biblical Interpretation. She holds an M.A.R. in Biblical Studies from Westminster and a B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University. When she is not parsing Hebrew and Greek, writing a paper, or reading, she is enjoying a meal with family/friends, teaching children how to beat their parents at chess, serving her local church, or trying to catch up on sleep. Her research interests include biblical theology, New Testament’s use of the Old, Greek grammar and syntax, the Synoptic Gospels, and the General Epistles. s200_warren.campbellWarren is a Th.M. student at the University of Toronto (Wycliffe College) in New Testament. He also holds an M.A.R. (Biblical Studies) from Westminster Theological Seminary and a B.A. in Criminology and Sociology. His academic interests lie in gospel origins, historical Jesus studies, history of New Testament interpretation, second Temple Judaism, and discourse analysis. He has experience as a Teaching Assistant for a variety of New Testament courses at WTS, including NT Backgrounds and Intermediate Greek. His wife Nicole runs a great food blog, the fruit of which he regularly enjoys.
